PHILADELPHIA (December 18, 2018) – The Salvation Army of Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware’s Red Kettle fundraising campaign is in full swing across the region. However, with one week left until Christmas, kettle donations are falling significantly short – currently at about 40% below the overall targeted goal for the campaign.
The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign is crucial to its ability to serve tens of thousands of struggling families across Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware. Red Kettle Fundraising Campaign Totals Down 50 Percent
With just ten days left until Christmas, The Salvation Army of Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware announced today that donations to its annual Red Kettle fundraising campaign are down throughout the region, presently at 50-percent of its overall goal.
The iconic tradition of bell ringers and red kettles is the most recognizable fundraising effort of The Salvation Army. Passersby can place monetary donations inside the red kettles, which will be stationed in prominent locations throughout the region until December 23.
